England Acres, a family owned and operated 1870’s farm located in Frederick County, Maryland, is “All Things Farm.” Jeff and Judy England are devoted to diversifying their farming venues with the goal to develop sustainable agricultural practices, optimum soil quality, and to provide quality products and services to their customers. England Acres is home to beef cattle, chicken flocks, sheep, fields of crops and seasonal garden produce. They strive to provide quality, all-natural products to benefit your family and their own.
The farm is registered in the Maryland Ag preservation program and has continually been farmed since the land was originally cleared in the 1800’s. Jeff and Judy have owned England Acres since 1985, running it as a dairy farm until recently moving from the dairy operation to hay/straw, grain, feed, chickens, eggs, sheep, and beef cattle.
There is a Farm Market and Bakery on the premises of England Acres. The market is comprised of fresh produce, fresh meats, fresh milk, herbals, soaps, fresh flowers, baked goods and a sundry of items combining efforts with local small farmers to offer the community of Mt. Airy and surrounding towns, fresh, local food & hand made products.
